Senior Executive – Sales & Marketing (Freighting & Project Logistics)
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: Manager, Sales & Marketing
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers for freight forwarding, transportation, and project logistics services.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities (import/export, cross-border, local distribution).
- Prepare and submit quotation, costing, and proposals for sea freight, air freight, and trucking services.
- Coordinate with the operations, forwarding, and transport teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular sales reports, pipeline, and forecast.
- Participate in tender preparation and negotiation of freight and project cargo opportunities.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence (freight trends, competitor pricing, customer feedback).
- Attend customer visits, networking events, and trade exhibitions when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales.
- Knowledge of incoterms, customs procedures, and project cargo handling.
- Good communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
