About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Manager to join Goh Fong Earthwork & Construction Sdn Bhd, a leading construction company based in Kempas, Johor. As the Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies
• Manage and motivate the construction team, providing direction, support, and performance feedback
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and procedures
• Prepare and present project reports, budgets, and other documentation as required

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of at least 5 years' experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in the construction industry
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex construction projects
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor a team
• Familiarity with construction software and technology, such as project management tools and BIM software
• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
