About the role

OTAFUKU SAUCE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a full-time Quality Control Inspector to join our growing team in Klang, Selangor. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high standards and quality of our products, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Inspect incoming raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
  • Perform quality checks during production (appearance, taste, pH, weight, labeling, etc.).
  • Record inspection results and report any defects or non-conformities.
  • Ensure production follows GMP, HACCP, and Halal requirements.
  • Support QA team during audits and product testing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in inspection and lab areas.
  • Work with production team to solve quality issues immediately.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or Certificate in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years' experience in quality control within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and halal requirements.
  • Able to work in a factory environment and handle sampling/testing equipment.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to work shifts if required.
