Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and attentive Hotel Guest Experience Associate to join our hotel team. This role is at the heart of our guest experience, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for throughout their stay. You will serve as the first point of contact for guests, assisting with check-ins, reservations, inquiries, and any special requests, while consistently delivering personalized and memorable service. Your dedication to guest satisfaction will help create lasting impressions and uphold the high standards of our hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and register guests, assign rooms, and attend to special requests with a personalized touch
  • Assist with pre-registration and room blocking for upcoming reservations
  • Handle guest payments and follow proper credit and cash-handling procedures
  • Keep accurate room status records and stay updated on room availability
  • Know the details of room types, locations, rates, and unique features to assist guests effectively
  • Use suggestive selling to promote rooms and other hotel services, enhancing the guest experience
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping on room readiness, including check-outs, early check-ins, late checkouts, and special requests
  • Support the Reservations process, including same-day and future bookings, and understand cancellation procedures
  • Process guest check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy and a smooth experience
  • Perform cashiering duties, including posting charges, processing payments, and handling petty cash transactions
  • Maintain professional telephone etiquette and provide timely, courteous responses to guest inquiries
  • Stay informed of daily hotel activities, events, and meetings through the logbook and internal communications
  • Report unusual incidents, guest concerns, or operational issues promptly to the Duty Manager
  • Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming at all times

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Calm, composed, and friendly demeanor under pressure
  • Passion for delivering exceptional, personalized guest service
  • Excellent grooming standards and professional presentation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small, close-knit team
  • Competent in IT and comfortable learning new systems
  • Malaysian citizen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1, RM2,500.00 per month
