Job Summary:

The Production Executive, functioning as a liaison between Indium Corporation Sales and a production facility, is responsible for assessing and communicating customer order information to facilitate effective planning for production of Indium Corporation's products for distribution to customers.

Job Functions:

  • Serve as an information and solutions resource to manufacturing with regard to product requests from customers
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills and liaise between Indium Corporation Sales staff and Production Supervisors and/or Production Group Leaders regarding order delivery with Fast fab, 30-day expedites and fab change
  • Foster concerted effort amongst sales and production staff to ensure productive relationships and mutually agreeable results
  • Communicate relevant scheduling information at daily site production meetings to ensure effective scheduling
  • Identify, investigate and recommend solutions in matters that adversely impact Indium's commitment to meeting customer order delivery dates
  • Be responsive to inquiries from Indium Corporation Global staff using approved product, process and specification language
  • Collaborate with Production, Sales, Warehouse and Shipping to ensure scheduling reliability
  • Accurately perform required systems entries
  • Prepare and submit status and metric reports as required
  • Uphold and promote the standards of Indium's quality management system, including following procedures and work instructions, and recommending improvements

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree
  • 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • ERP aptitude; experience with ERP systems preferred
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as ERP software
  • Demonstrates ability to perform multiple projects, tasks, and system functions simultaneously
  • Ability to develop an understanding of Indium Corporation products and services
