Role & responsibilities

  • Identify and liaise with suitable nominee directors as per Indian Companies Act requirements and coordinate with legal consultants, company secretaries, and financial institutions to fulfill all statutory, tax, and banking obligations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end setup of the merchant company in India, including incorporation under the Companies Act, 2013, GST registration, PAN/TAN application, and opening of current accounts in compliance with RBI guidelines for payment aggregators.
  • Support the integration of payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, CCAvenue, Paytm), including merchant account setup
  • Prepare and maintain all compliance documentation including KYC, AML, data protection, gateway agreements, and regulatory submissions, ensuring full adherence to fintech and digital payment regulations.
  • Manage relationships with nominee directors, payment service providers, CAs, legal advisors, and banks to ensure seamless coordination and timely execution of all activities.
  • Support management in preparing periodic reports, obtaining necessary approvals, and maintaining up-to-date records of contracts, agreements, and statutory documents.
  • Stay updated on changes in Indian fintech, taxation, and compliance laws to ensure the company remains compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or any graduate
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fintech operations, company incorporation, or payment gateway setup in India.
  • Strong understanding of RBI guidelines, GST compliance, and digital payment regulations.
  • Experience liaising with payment gateways, company secretaries, and banks.
  • Excellent project coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (English + local language)
