SONGYUAN AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY SYSTEMS (MALAYSIA) SDN. a manufacturer of automotive safety systems specialized in seatbelt, airbags and steering wheels. Its headquater is located at Zhejiang, China where it was founded in 2001 has since become one of China's top manufacturers of automotive safety belts. The company is committed to the advancing domestic automotive passive safety system independent brands, adhering to the business philosophy of "comfort, safety, reliability and environmental protection", and providing automotive passive safety system solutions that meet global standards for automotive safety.

We are currently seeking a full-time Quality Management Representative (QMR) to join our team in Puchong, Selangor. In this pivotal role, you will be working closely with the Quality Manager to ensure we meet our manufacturing goals and quality standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop quality guidelines: Create quality policies and procedures that meet the business's needs.
  • Monitor quality standards: Ensure that all employees and departments comply with quality standards.
  • Train and provide awareness: Provide training and materials to ensure employees understand the importance of quality.
  • Identify and correct errors: Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Communicate with top management: Inform top management about the state of the QMS and suggest improvements
  • Promote awareness of regulations: Promote awareness of regulations and expectations across the organization.
  • Conducting internal quality audits periodically.
  • To investigate, analyse and maintain statistics on any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, or occupational disease which has happened in the place of work as stated in the IATF 16949.
  • To inspect the place of work to determine whether any machineries, plants, equipment, substances, appliances, or process or any description of manual labor used in the place of work, is of such nature liable to cause bodily injury to any person working in the place of work.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, management or a related
  • At least 3 years(s) of working experience in a related field is required for this position.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience in internal and external process auditing.
  • Certification in IATF 16949 is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949
  • Language: English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
