We are seeking experienced IT professionals to lead and deliver enhancements for Core Banking and Compliance systems. The roles involve managing technical delivery, system design, and integration across complex banking applications, with strong hands-on skills in Shell Scripting, and Core Banking/Compliance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support end-to-end delivery of core banking projects, ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements.
  • Write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts; perform SQL queries and data mapping.
  • Collaborate with BAs, system analysts, architects, and vendors to define and implement functional and technical requirements.
  • Manage technical dependencies, testing (SIT, UAT, security), and post-implementation support.
  • Mentor junior developers (for Senior Software Engineer) or oversee application teams (for Technical Delivery Manager).
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, security, and regulatory controls.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–6+ years in banking/financial IT delivery, depending on role.
  • Strong experience in core banking, compliance systems, or payments.
  • Proficient in UNIX/Linux shell scripting, SQL, and Java; AS400, RPG, Oracle DB, and Engage One (for TDM) preferred.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, AML, and transaction flows is a plus.
  • Strong SDLC, technical design, and stakeholder communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM150, RM198,000.00 per year
