Lead and manage a team working on Core Banking channel integration and development.


• Design, develop, and maintain applications written in RPG or Control Language (CL)


• Plan and execute QR processes including deployment coordination and production readiness


• Oversee Quality Assurance activities: test planning, test case review, defect management, and

QA sign-off.


• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including business users, architects, and other tech teams.


• Perform effort estimation, task planning, and ensure timely delivery of assigned modules.


• Ensure compliance with internal control and audit requirements during release cycles.


• Provide status updates, risk assessments, and delivery timeliness to business and IT

stakeholders.


• Collaborate with vendor and internal teams to manage change requests, patch deployments, and

upgrades.


• Maintain documentation for release schedules, QA metrics, and issue logs.


• Should be efficient in Agile methodologies and SDLC.


• Apply best practices in software development, documentation, and version control.


• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to security and coding standards.


• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives within the team.


• Provide hands-on guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:


•
6–9 years of experience in software development in the banking/financial services domain


• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Silverlake Core Banking – Customer

module


•
Technical background with experience in AS400, which includes DB2400, RPG400, and CL400.


• Proficient in effort estimation, planning, and task breakdown


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
