Job Description:Financial Operations

  • Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure timely, accurate entry into accounting systems.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure that accounting records and systems comply with company policies and regulatory standards.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and assist with monitoring budget performance.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Reconcile discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial standards, and relevant government reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities.
  • Maintain and review internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Assist with audit preparation and ensure timely submission of audited financial statements to regulatory bodies.

Support to Management

  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions and business planning.
  • Assist in financial modeling and scenario planning for new initiatives or operational changes.
  • Ensure the company's financial operations align with short-term and long-term goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA) are a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Solid knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8, RM10,000.00 per month
