Our client "China State Construction Engineering Limited (Hong Kong)" is seeking a Engineer / Assistant Engineer - Civil / New Build to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Contract administration: Manage main contracts and subcontracts for construction projects, ensuring smooth operations and compliance.
  • Financial management: Handle cost estimation, cost control, and budgeting to optimize project finances and maximize efficiency.
  • Procurement expertise: Oversee material procurement processes, ensuring high-quality materials are acquired at competitive prices.
  • Claims management: Address contractual claims and subcontractors' claims, maintaining positive relationships while protecting the company's interests.
  • Construction assessment: Evaluate proposed construction activities and implement precautionary measures to ensure overall stability and safety of the works.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Building Engineering. Professional qualifications are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience level: Candidates with 2-5 years of experience in main contractor roles are ideal, but candidates with no prior experience are also welcomed to apply.
  • Language skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English, with proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese to facilitate effective communication with various stakeholders.
  • Availability: Candidates who can start immediately are highly preferred, but we're open to discussing start dates.
  • Relocation ready: You are enthusiastic about the opportunity to relocate to Hong Kong and embrace a new cultural experience.
