RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine and specialised tests on construction materials such as concrete, aggregates, soils, asphalts, steel bars & masonry units.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain all laboratory equipment, such as compression machines, universal testing machines, ovens, balances, and sieves.
  • Receive, log, and properly label all incoming samples.
  • Accurately record all test data, observations, and results.
  • Perform basic calculations and data analysis to summarise test findings.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed, accurate, and timely test reports and certificates of compliance for review by senior engineers.
  • Help maintain and organise all laboratory & site records and documentation.
  • Travel to construction sites to supervise and conduct testing.
  • Strictly adhere to all company and standard safety protocols.

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Diploma / Degree in
    Civil/ Structural Engineering
    .
  • Thorough technical knowledge of test methods.
  • A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.
  • Honest, Analytical, Careful, Hard-working and Ambitious.
  • Physically fit
    .
  • Responsible person with good communication skills.
  • Possesses a
    valid driving license
    and is
    willing to travel
    .
