Social Media & Content Specialist

We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media & Content Specialist to be the voice and visual curator of our brand across all digital channels. This role is primarily focused on developing, executing, and analyzing engaging social media content. The ideal candidate lives and breathes social media trends, possesses strong graphic design and copywriting skills, and is comfortable assisting with email and website updates.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Content & Strategy (Primary Focus):

  • Develop and Execute Social Strategy: Plan, implement, and manage our comprehensive social media strategy across platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Content Creation: Own the entire content lifecycle, including ideation, scriptwriting, filming/photography, graphic design, and editing for all social platforms. Must be proficient with basic video editing and design tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe).
  • Copywriting: Write compelling, on-brand captions and calls-to-action tailored to the nuances of each platform.
  • Community Management: Actively monitor, listen, and respond to user comments and messages to build an engaged online community and manage brand reputation.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and report on key social media metrics (engagement rate, reach, follower growth) and use data to refine future content and strategy.

Digital Marketing Assistance (Secondary Focus):

  • Email Marketing Support: Assist in the production and deployment of email newsletters and marketing campaigns, including formatting content, setting up basic segments, and reviewing performance metrics.
  • Website Content Updates: Perform routine updates and maintenance on the brands website, including posting blog articles, updating images, and etc.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay current with the latest social media features, digital marketing trends, and platform algorithm changes.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience (e.g., 1-3 years) focused heavily on social media content creation and management.
  • A strong portfolio or active social media profiles demonstrating high-quality content creation (video, static graphics, and copywriting).
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with basic graphic design and video editing software.
  • Solid understanding of social media advertising basics (boosting posts, setting up simple ad campaigns).
  • Highly organized, creative, and a proactive self-starter.
