Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for steam boiler operations including upkeep of boiler's operation data and safety aspects.
  • Operate high pressure boilers, cooling towers, compressors and process water systems.
  • Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance schedule and to trouble shoot when necessary.
  • To ensure the boilers are kept in good running condition at all time.
  • Maintain 12 units of Miura Boiler (2tonned) & Air compressors.
  • Troubleshoot Boiler & Air compressor issues.
  • Maintain housekeeping at Boiler & Air Compressors area.
  • Prepare report for breakdown & troubleshooting.
  • Work with vendors on boiler troubleshooting.
  • Prepare JKKP yearly inspections for boiler.
  • To assist in other maintenance duties as and when assigned by the superior.
  • To implement any other duties related to the department that may arise from time to time as per instruction by the Company.

Requirements:-

  • Must possess Boilerman Grade 1 or 2 certificate.
  • Candidate must possess at least SPM or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' working experience in a similar position.
  • Able to perform shift work and willing to work long hours.
  • Able to work during weekends and public holidays if necessary.
  • Able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Preferably with PALM OIL MILL manufacturing experience.
