ACCOUNTABILITY

The Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager is responsible for leading and implementing operational excellence initiatives across the air conditioning manufacturing plant. This role will drive process optimization, quality improvement, and efficiency gains through Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. The CI Manager will lead a team of four staff members and serve as a change agent to embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Develop and execute the plant's CI strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of four CI staff to deliver measurable improvements.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices to reduce waste, improve quality, and enhance productivity.
  • Identify, prioritize, and manage CI projects with clear ROI and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain) to streamline processes and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor CI initiatives and track progress.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Provide coaching and training to plant staff on Lean and Six Sigma tools.
  • Report regularly to senior management on CI project outcomes and savings achieved.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education Background

  • Minimum: Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification (mandatory).
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in CI leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of leading Lean/Six Sigma projects with significant cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Experience in HVAC or air conditioning industry preferred.
