Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Drafter cum Project Coordinator to join our team. This role involves preparing precise 2D/3D drawings, coordinating project activities, and ensuring smooth execution from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical drawing skills, excellent organizational abilities, and effective communication skills to liaise with designers, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Drafter:

  • Prepare accurate 2D/3D concept, schematic, and detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Work in alignment with project schedules and deadlines.
  • Thoroughly check all drawings for accuracy before submission.
  • Maintain, update, and revise drawing sets based on feedback from consultants and clients.
  • Keep drawing logs and relevant documents organized and stored on the server.
  • Verify dimensions of fitments, fixtures, materials, and equipment; report any mismatches.
  • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to incorporate approved design changes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

As a Project Coordinator:

  • Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely progress.
  • Prepare and maintain professional documentation for projects, including schedules, progress reports, BOQs, and material lists, uploaded systematically to the server.
  • Ensure construction activities follow site schedules and design intentions.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors responsible for various project phases.
  • Monitor construction progress regularly and conduct status meetings with all sub-teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the project team.
  • Review deliverables prepared by the team for accuracy and quality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with occasional site visits.
  • Dynamic and fast-paced project-driven environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM5,500.00 per month
