The role of a Project cum Procurement Senior Executive involves managing both the strategic procurement of goods and services and the successful execution and delivery of projects. This position demands a blend of procurement expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities

Core Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this hybrid role include:

Project Management: Leading New Product Introduction (NPI) or other specific projects, developing project timelines, managing budgets and resource allocation, and ensuring project completion on time and within scope.

Procurement Strategy & Execution: Developing and executing sourcing plans, analyzing market trends, and managing the entire purchasing process to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies.

Supplier & Contract Management: Strategizing, negotiating with, and evaluating suppliers/vendors to secure the best prices and terms. This includes drafting and managing complex contracts.

Coordination & Stakeholder Relations: Liaising with internal departments (operations, finance, sales) and external stakeholders to align goals and ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Inventory & Documentation Control: Overseeing inventory management, maintaining accurate purchasing records/data and pricing in the system, and managing project documentation.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Successful candidates for this position typically require:

Experience: Extensive experience (often 2-5+ years, depending on the company) in procurement and/or project management.

Education: A degree in business management, supply chain, engineering, or a related field is often preferred.

Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant purchasing/project management software.

Attributes: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6, RM8,000.00 per month
