Position Summary

NTS Printing is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Printing Sales Consultant to join our expanding team in Pasir Mas. This role is ideal for a results-oriented sales professional who excels in a dynamic environment, communicates effectively, and has a strong understanding of the printing and merchandising industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Performance & Business Development

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets established by management.
  • Actively source new clients and grow the customer base, including SMEs, government bodies, private companies, and educational institutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and networking activities.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and sustain strong, long-term relationships by understanding and addressing client needs.
  • Deliver excellent pre-sales and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

3. Consultative Sales Approach

  • Advise clients on a wide range of printing products and services, including marketing materials, merchandise, corporate gifts, banners, and customized solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to highlight NTS Printing's capabilities and value proposition.

4. Market Insights & Sales Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional initiatives and enhance brand visibility.

5. Quotations & Proposals

  • Prepare accurate quotations, costings, and proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes while maintaining profitability.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with design, production, and customer service teams to ensure smooth project execution and on-time delivery.
  • Share market and customer insights with management to support continuous improvement of products and services.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably within the printing, advertising, or promotional merchandise industry.

Industry Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of printing methods, materials, and technologies such as digital, offset, inkjet, and screen printing.
  • Awareness of current trends in printing, branding, and corporate gift solutions.

Language Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and close deals effectively.
  • Strong consultative selling and solution-recommendation skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
  • Confident presentation and communication skills.
  • Effective time management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic CRM or sales tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and practical approach.

Working Hours

  • Saturday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: Off
