About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Costing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and maintaining cost structures for products to support pricing decisions, budgeting, and profitability analysis. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as production, procurement, finance, and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update product costings, including raw materials, labor, overheads, and production expenses.
  • Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Monitor changes in material prices, production processes, and supplier rates to maintain accurate costing.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reviews and budgeting activities.
  • Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure cost data alignment.
  • Assist in standard costing setup and perform periodic cost roll-ups.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial standards.
  • Generate costing reports for management decision-making.
  • Review BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy and coordinate updates when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3years of experience in product costing, cost analysis, or manufacturing finance (preferably in Malaysia-based operations).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, BOM, and standard costing.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4, RM4,500.00 per month
