JOB PURPOSE

To strategically manage and supervise the end-to-end operation. This role is accountable for the accurate sorting and timely loading of stock and this position provides critical line management to the warehouse team, driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement to achieve business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the daily outbound operations, including the accurate sorting of received stock
  • Manage the timely and accurate completion of shipping manifests and related documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly; escalate critical matters to senior management when appropriate.
  • Ensure all warehouse tools, facilities, and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and fully operational condition.
  • Generate and analyze regular operational reports and statistics to inform decision-making.
  • Assist in forecasting and planning future capacity requirements to support business growth and fluctuating demand.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as required by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a supervisory role within land transportation, warehousing, or distribution, with a specific focus on outbound operations.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and multitasking skills with a proven ability to meet strict targets and deadlines.

  • Proficient in using relevant software for reporting and data analysis.

  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • A proactive problem-solver with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to be available after normal business hours when required to ensure operational success.
