Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and issue detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and manufacturing teams to confirm material and capacity availability.
  • Create work order and monitor production progress and revise schedules when necessary due to equipment breakdowns, material delays, or staffing changes.
  • Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure finished goods are delivered on time.
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems including work orders, lead times, and production status.
  • Analyse performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, production efficiency, order cycle time) and recommend improvements.
  • Communicate schedule changes and priorities clearly to production supervisors and related departments.
  • Participate in daily manufacturing meetings and cross-functional planning sessions.
  • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or equivalent
  • 5 years and above of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of production processes, BOMS, materials flow, and capacity planning.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
