About the Role

We are representing a leading hyperscale data centre developer seeking an experienced Associate Project Director (MEP) to lead major mission-critical projects in Johor. The role oversees full project delivery from design and construction to commissioning and handover, ensuring excellence in quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project execution and serve as the main liaison with clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities

• Oversee Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance and ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards

• Support site due diligence, land acquisition, and project feasibility activities

• Manage project governance, documentation, and reporting throughout all phases

• Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, Solutions, and Operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery

• Drive risk management, continuous improvement, and ISO compliance including ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related engineering disciplines

• 15 to 20 years of experience in project management for large-scale data centres or mission-critical facilities

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills

• Solid understanding of MEP systems, construction processes, and commissioning activities

• Professional certifications in project management or safety will be an advantage
