We are looking for an experienced, self-driven Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing and operations activities of commodity logistics business in Malaysia.

You will be working with a team to carry out requirements of our customers for their products.

You will be required to ensure all daily operations requirements and exceed daily performance expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, co-ordinate and monitor receiving, identifying, despatching and ensuring cargoes are in good order.
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage area are all in good order and according to Plan.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of daily warehousing activities and operational performance.
  • Ensure all shipment and inventory transaction accuracy.
  • Ensure that customers' requirements are all met and any issues resolved timely.
  • Monitor and ensure all material handling equipment are in good order and are maintained timely and regularly.
  • Maintain job records, document all necessary information and present reports to Management as required.
  • Identify areas for improvement and to establish innovative or recommend existing work procedures and practices.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
  • Proven work experience as a warehouse operation supervisor with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
  • Experience in warehouse keeping and stock management.
  • Self-driven with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in communicating, reading and writing English.
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal management skills.
  • Enjoy teamwork and to work under pressure.
  • Able to commence work within short notice.
  • Able to work in shift/ overtime when required (could fall on Pubic holiday / weekend).
