Key Responsibilities1. Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the coldroom operations and sales team.
  • Develop departmental strategies, KPIs, and improvement plans aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct training, coaching, and performance evaluations for team members.

2. Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day coldroom operations including storage, handling, and distribution.
  • Ensure strict adherence to temperature control, hygiene, and regulatory standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
  • Coordinate closely with logistics, warehouse, and procurement teams for seamless workflows.
  • Monitor energy consumption, equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and operational costs.

3. Inventory & Logistics

  • Manage stock control and ensure accurate tracking of product movement.
  • Implement FIFO and FEFO practices to maintain product quality and reduce wastage.
  • Liaise with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams for timely replenishment and dispatch.

4. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive sales growth for coldroom storage services and related solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and expand market reach.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with key accounts.
  • Develop pricing models, promotional packages, and seasonal offers.

5. Marketing & Branding

  • Plan and execute marketing activities to promote coldroom services.
  • Develop marketing materials including brochures, posters, and presentations.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all platforms.

6. Social Media & Digital Marketing

  • Manage the company's digital presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Create engaging online content to showcase coldroom capabilities.
  • Execute SEO, SEM, email marketing, and paid ad campaigns.
  • Track analytics and measure ROI to enhance campaign performance.
  • Respond to online inquiries and engage with prospective customers.

7. Customer Experience & After-Sales

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Develop loyalty programs and referral incentives.
  • Handle escalated customer feedback swiftly and professionally.

8. Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare operational, sales, and marketing performance reports.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resource planning.
  • Present performance insights and future forecasts to senior management.

9. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Research and introduce new technologies and methods to improve coldroom efficiency.
  • Implement innovative digital marketing strategies.
  • Provide staff training and upskilling opportunities across operations, sales, and service functions.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Operations Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in coldroom/warehouse operations and sales, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of cold storage operations, business development, and digital marketing.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, digital tools, and social media platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven capability in achieving sales growth and maintaining operational efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5, RM8,000.00 per month
