About The Role
New Era Technology is looking for experienced
Senior Microservices, Platform Services & Engineering Development Manager
to be deployed at our prestigious client in
Malaysia
at their
KL
office.

Skills Category Level

• Unix/Linux system administration Mandatory Advance
• Installation and configuration of WebLogic or WebLogic or JBoss with with SSL encryption. Mandatory Advance
• Devops experience Mandatory Basic/intermediate
• Scripting/Automation experience Mandatory Intermediate
• Infrastructure provisioning experience Mandatory Intermediate
• Release Management experience Mandatory Advance
• IBM MQ, Connect:Direct, FTP/SFTP Optional
• Oracle Databases operations Optional
• Networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting. Optional

Knowledge & Technical Skills

• Hands on Experience with automation (ansible, python, etc.).
• Experience in application deployment using devops, understanding of bitbucket, basic scripting.
• Understanding of release management, stakeholder reporting, jira workflows.
• Responsible for SIT, UAT and Production deployments for Credit Origination applications across countries.
• Able to perform Infrastructure related testing/production environment setup.
• Able to provide support for maintenance upgrades, patches, and capacity uplift for Credit Origination applications across countries.
• Responsible for troubleshooting testing environment issues reported.
• Responsible for maintaining testing environment uptime by monitoring and maintaining the automated scripts to monitor the testing environment.
• Ability to support and troubleshoot related SIT/UAT deployments issues with DevOps/Aldon.
• Ansible, containers, env management.
• Understanding of banking env in general.
• Getting it done attitude.
• Willingness to work in a fast paced/demanding env, to learn and broaden responsibilities skillset.
• Release management.

Good To Have

• Nice to have exposure to containers.
• Team lead experience preferred.
