About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team at Chronosys Integrator Sdn Bhd. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their computer systems and networks. This is a full-time position based in Skudai, Johor.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing first-line technical support to users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
  • Maintaining and monitoring computer systems, networks, and related infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
  • Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of new hardware and software
  • Documenting and tracking support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system
  • Collaborating with the IT team to implement system upgrades, patches, and security measures
  • Providing training and guidance to users on the proper use of IT systems and applications

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a good understanding of computer hardware, software, and network technologies
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Working knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, and/or macOS), productivity software, and common business applications
  • Familiarity with network administration, including configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and other network devices
  • A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
