Job Description

We are seeking a QA/QC Executive to join our team for a major Steel Structure Data Center Project.

This is a 15-month contract position based full-time at the project site in Selangor. The QA/QC Executive will support the project team to ensure all fabrication, delivery, and installation works comply with required quality standards, specifications, and documentation requirements.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Site Supervisor to maintain strict quality control throughout the entire project duration.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure work meets approved drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain QA/QC documents such as ITP, Method Statements, RFI logs, NCR reports, and inspection records.
  • Ensure all pre-work documentation (Permit to Work, Method Statement, ITP) is ready before starting work.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and factory QA/QC team to ensure quality consistency from fabrication to site installation.
  • Monitor subcontractors' work to ensure compliance with project and client quality requirements.
  • Coordinate and assist in inspections with consultants and client representatives.
  • Prepare QA/QC reports and ensure proper filing and traceability of all quality documents.
  • Support ISO 9001 compliance practices and maintain systematic record management.
  • Assist in resolving quality issues, deviations, or non-conformance cases.
  • Ensure all safety and compliance requirements are met before commencing work at site.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 3–6 years' experience in QA/QC roles within steel structure or civil construction projects.

  • Experience in data center or industrial projects is an added advantage.

  • Skills:

  • Able to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and technical specifications.

  • Knowledge in QA/QC documentation, inspection processes, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Other Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work full-time at Selangor project site.

  • Willing to visit subcontractor factories when required.
  • Committed to complete the full 15-month contract duration.
