About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join CESCO INTEGRATED SERVICES SDN BHD' as an Account Executive. You will play a vital role in the Accounting team, supporting the company's financial operations and contributing to the overall success of the business. This full-time position is based in Pasir Gudang Johor.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining and updating financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledgers
  • Assist with daily accounting tasks (invoicing, payment processing, data entry)
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing
  • Support month-end closing activities
  • Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and statutory reporting with minimal supervision
  • Prepare and process financial transactions and monthly financial reports in a timely, accurate manner
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations; ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies
  • Support month-end and year-end closings, tax computations, SST/GST filings, and audit coordination
  • Assist with budgeting, financial analysis (P&L and balance sheet), and system improvements
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities as needed
  • Implement process improvements and support finance system upgrades and project initiatives
  • Enhance internal controls, reporting systems, and financial procedures across departments
  • Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights and support

What we're looking for

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 3 year of experience in an accounting
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software (AutoCount Accounting Software) and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
