Pricing Manager

Panel Input:

Strong quantitative, numerical, and analytical skills

for informed pricing decisions

Industry knowledge
(IT/Telecom) is a plus

skills, especially with cross-functional stakeholders

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Provide timely day-to-day responses to Sales' quote requests and pricing analysis
  • Ensure proposed pricing is in line with overall win price, establish pricing structure that meets business target margins; coordinate, present findings and make recommendations to gain executive management approval for customer submission and make changes where appropriate
  • Utilize various internal tools and financial systems to prepare reports and conduct analysis
  • Work closely with partners to achieve a better cost structure
  • Work closely with in-country Access Managers to derive competitive end-to-end pricing
  • Provide pricing trends and pricing benchmarks
  • Work with regulatory and to comply with all regulatory framework
  • Support automation initiatives and process improvement with objectives to improve turnaround time and win rate
  • Conduct joint customer visits with Account Managers
  • Established segment / product base pricing benchmark
  • Take on any additional cross functional support duties when called upon

Minimum Qualification

  • Diploma/bachelor's in marketing, Business Studies, Finance or Engineering

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Previous exposure in IT-related or telecommunication industry is an advantage
  • At least 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Previous pricing management experience is highly desired
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment and to meet critical deadlines
  • Able to work well both independently as a pricing professional and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to understand and interpret data as well as being able to present data in a compelling manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
