Job Summary:

The Finance & Accounting Intern will assist the Finance Department in day-to-day financial and accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reporting, and administrative support. This internship provides hands-on experience in managing company accounts, budgeting, and financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and updating financial and accounting records.
  • Support daily bookkeeping activities including invoices, payments, and journal entries.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow transactions.
  • Assist in preparing payment vouchers, receipts, and expense claims.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting.
  • Help with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
  • Assist during internal or external audits by preparing required documents.
  • Provide general administrative and financial support as required.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willing to learn, responsible, and able to work independently or in a team.
