Job Requirements:

  • Certificate in Electrical Chargeman B0 from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in HT and LV electrical system.
  • Flexible and proactive in matters arising and attentive to details

Job Responsibilities :

  • To ensure preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all plant electrical facilities (such as high voltage transformer, high voltage switch gear, switch room, gen set, LV, MSB, sub DB and etc.) are carried out according to Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements and safe operating condition.
  • To perform periodical inspection, reading and monitoring on electrical facilities and record the inspection finding into log book.
  • Attend to TNB power failure, switching gen set powers and transformer.
  • Co-ordinate with TNB for power failure and schedule maintenance shut down .
  • Verified and approve new installation ACB, DB, Sub DB and electrical cable. Ensure single line diagram is updated according to recent modification or upgrade.
  • Responsible for performing duties and responsibilities in accordance with SMETA standards.
  • Any ad-hoc task assigned by superior.
