Key Responsibilities

● Serve as the governance and internal controls lead for enterprise applications such as Financial Systems, CRM, and HR systems.

● Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and documentation to support IT and business processes.

● Identify process gaps and recommend enhancements for compliance and eciency.

● Review and manage Segregation of Duties (SoD) rulesets and resolve conflicts.

● Support internal and external audits, including SOX and regulatory requirements.

● Conduct independent thematic reviews on IT processes and drive remediation actions.

● Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and department leads.

● Promote awareness of IT risk through regular training, communications, and governance campaigns.

Requirements

Must-Have:

● Minimum 6 years of experience in IT Governance, Risk Management, and Internal Controls.

● Strong working knowledge of COBIT 5 or COBIT 2019.

● Solid understanding of SOX compliance and IT audit frameworks.

● Skilled in evaluating enterprise application risks and designing control measures.

● Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.

● Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Nice-to-Have:

● Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISM.

● Familiarity with frameworks like COSO.

● Exposure to Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, or Workday HRIS systems.

Job Types: Permanent, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM10, RM12,000.00 per month
