Core responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports: Generate and review financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Handle transactions: Process invoices, payments, and maintain up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Support financial planning: Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance: Enforce and adhere to accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist with audits: Provide support and documentation for internal and external audits.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience: Previous work experience as an accounts executive or in a similar role is often preferred, though some entry-level positions may be available.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in accounting software (such as SAP) and Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to interpret financial data and identify trends.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accuracy in financial records.
  • Soft skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are important.
