Responsibilities & Duties
  • Support in the occupational safety and health; give technical consultancy and ensure legal compliance about prevention and awareness of occupational health and safety and accidents in all project areas.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute the programs related to prevention of health and safety risk and risk management/ Emergency Response Plan and review/follow up the implementation in the operational areas related to occupational health, safety & hygiene,
  • Participate in the evaluation of actions and work methods/procedures executed in the area, according to the risk of each function with the aim to give trainings, proposing the necessary modifications to provide better comfort and safety.
  • Support the work programs of the internal investigation of accident prevention and making follow-up of recommendation
  • Realize/follow up on safety inspections/post evaluation in the project procedure, equipment's, and work tools to achieve maximum safety and comfort in the realization of the work.
Requirements

Academic Qualification:

  • Candidate must be a competent Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) by NIOSH.

Experiences:

  • Possess own transport and willing to travel/based at site
  • Experienced in HSE for above 3 years from the date of DOSH registration as yellow book holder.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Computer literate: Proficient in Microsoft office & Outlook
  • Proficient in English/Malay
