About the role

As the Income Audit at Nexus Resort & Spa Karambunai', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the resort's financial operations. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of the resort's income streams, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement. Your work will be instrumental in maintaining the resort's financial health and supporting its overall strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

1. Performing regular audits of the resort's revenue sources, including room sales, food and beverage revenue, and other income streams
2. Analyzing financial data and records to detect any discrepancies or irregularities
3. Recommending corrective actions and implementing controls to mitigate identified risks
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting and internal control processes
5. Providing detailed audit reports and presentations to the management team
6. Ensuring the resort's compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
7. Participating in the continuous improvement of the resort's financial systems and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in internal auditing or a related field within the hospitality industry
2. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks
3. Proficiency in analysing financial data, identifying trends, and proposing strategic solutions
4. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
6. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
7. Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
