Job Description:

We are hiring a meticulous and proactive Document Controller to support our data centre project in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. This role is on a 6-month contract basis, with the potential for extension depending on project needs.

As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing and tracking all project-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company and industry standards. You will work closely with the project, engineering, and site teams to streamline documentation workflows and support timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, organize, and maintain all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
  • Ensure accurate distribution, storage, and version control of documents.
  • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients regarding document submissions.
  • Prepare and update document logs, reports, and registers.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of company documents.
  • Assist in compiling handover documentation and project deliverables.
  • Support auditing and compliance processes by ensuring documentation accuracy.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably in construction or engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with document management systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams.
  • Knowledge of document control standards and reporting practices.
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently.
  • Available for a 6-month contract with potential extension.
