What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects from inception to completion
  • Providing technical expertise and engineering solutions to clients, ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives
  • Overseeing the procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment and systems
  • Conducting site visits, inspections, and testing to ensure project compliance and quality standards
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks, and implementing effective risk management strategies
  • Preparing detailed project reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Communication shows respect to customer and makes them feel good about working with us.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, conference calls on project related events with team and customer.
  • Involve in project meeting, project planning and scheduling with internal and external team members.
  • Track, prepare and update periodically on the project progress, reports, and presentations.
  • Help to identify and manage projects risks and issues.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the management.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics/Electro-mechanical or Automation) or a related field.
  • Preferable 1-2 years of experience as project coordinator or project engineer, preferably in the automation or manufacturing industries. Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
  • Strong technical expertise and understanding of engineering principles, practices, and project management methodologies.
  • Hands on knowledge of computer application including use of the internet, Excel and Word applications and presentation software such as Power point.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in project management software, CAD tools, and relevant engineering software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Able to travel when needed.
