We are seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager positions to join our dynamic team at WIRELESSMOBILITY ENGINEERING CENTRE SDN. BHD.  This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career development and advancement.

Job responsibilities:

  • Formulate overall plans for new product kick-off, design, R&D stage review, trial production, production and launch.
  • Responsible for the project progress and overall project quality.
  • Independently contribute to project progress, risk control, resource scheduling, early warning and backup emergency plans within the product development cycle.
  • Monitor how the plan is being implemented, suggest and modify the project plan as needed, and quickly identify and determine the causes of any issues that could prevent the project from being completed on schedule independently.
  • Supervise the implementation of branch plans over departments and arrange departmental collaboration and communication during the project implementation independently.
  • Provide regular and timely reports on the project status, phased results, and the accomplishment of key milestone tasks.
  • Communicate promptly on the issues that have arisen or could arise during the project, gather the necessary resources to address and resolve them, put forth alternative plans, and monitor their implementation.
  • Standardize project management and collaborate with the quality management divisions to effectively manage the product quality.
  • Coordinate and lead the project wrap-up, which includes project overview, summary of project goals achieved, review and analysis of the project implementation process, and summary of issues and lessons learned. Assist the product manager in meeting customer requests and coordinating customer service and support once the project is moved to mass production.
  • Other tasks as required by the chain of reporting and business needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3 years' experience or above in similar positions.
  • Excellence in providing quality solutions.
  • Highly experienced in identifying and resolving difficult problems internally and externally.
  • Candidates with PMP or other project management professional certificates are preferred.
  • Proficient in standard procedures to solve routine problems.
  • Able to grasp the project schedule, solve the routine problems of project development, and ensure the result
  • output on time.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of hardware design and related process.
  • Strong understanding of Software design and related process.
  • Familiar with knowledge of factory production.
  • Full understanding of IoT industry and applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English is essential for daily work communication, Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus. "We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers."
