About the role

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be managing and delivering implementation and optimisation services across a curated ecosystem of best-in-class cyber security technologies. Our team are close-knit and supportive, always available to help you learn. The role involves working directly with clients to onboard, configure, and train on their new software. You will work closely with both other security engineers and the presales team who are responsible for scoping the engagements. You will need to be comfortable in spending extended periods of time in a client-facing role, including on-site.

Responsibilities

While the specific focus may vary, the role would generally involve design, implementation, and maintenance of security solutions.

  1. Deliver implementation and optimization services for a curated ecosystem of cybersecurity technologies.
  2. Work directly with clients to onboard, configure, and provide training on new software.
  3. Mentoring of junior staff
  4. Leading delivery projects end-to-end
  5. Collaborate closely with the presales team to scope engagements accurately.
  6. Configure and troubleshoot cloud security systems proficiently.
  7. Complete assigned tasks on time and on budget and seek assistance when necessary.
  8. Provide an exceptional customer experience, measured using post-project surveys.
  9. Leverage knowledge of other desirable technologies such as Mimecast, Netskope, Crowdstrike, Qualys, Tenable, Illumio, KnowBe4 and Splunk when needed.

Skills & Experience

Knowledge and skills:

  1. In-depth understanding of cybersecurity concepts, techniques, and remediation approaches.
  2. Able to deliver assigned tasks on time and ask for help early when needed.
  3. Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical peers.
  4. Able to converse independently with business and technology stakeholders.
  5. Possess knowledge of Sekuro's security services, products, and solutions,
  6. Awareness of emerging cyber threats and trends.
  7. Hands-on experience with security products and solutions, specifically across Email Security, EDR, Cloud Security, IAM, and/or SIEM.

Experience:

  1. Hands-on Mimecast, Netskope and Crowdstrike configuration experience.
  2. Implementation experience in at least 1 other SaaS security platform.
  3. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  4. Solid understanding of Email Security, EDR, Cloud Security, IAM and SIEM.
  5. Able to confidently engage with clients, including their different business and technology stakeholders.
