Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant to support solution design, proposal development, and technical engagement activities across enterprise IT platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ITSM/ITAM/ERP-related solutions, strong presentation skills, and the ability to work closely with sales and technical teams in customer-facing engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect enterprise-level ERP solutions within ITSM, ITAM, OTM, CRM, and ITIL frameworks.
  • Preferred experience: ServiceNow ITSM/ITAM.
  • Lead full presales and tender activities, including:
  • Technical proposals & solution blueprints
  • Product presentations & demonstrations
  • RFP/RFQ responses
  • Collaboration with sales and technical teams
  • Evaluate and recommend suitable technology platforms and emerging ICT trends.
  • Conduct pre- and post-implementation discussions and solution walkthroughs.
  • Deliver technical presentations/demo sessions in Bahasa Malaysia and English for both technical teams and C-level stakeholders.
  • Travel within Malaysia as required.

Job Scope

  • Engage new leads through direct communication and technical discussions.
  • Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Support tender responses with accurate technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on customer opportunities and engagements.
  • Provide presales consultancy, PoC (Proof-of-Concept) support, and solution advisory.
  • Keep updated with the latest networking technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering (Networking/Telecommunications preferred).
  • 2–3 years' hands-on experience in network or solutions implementation/operations.
  • Strong understanding of SD-WAN technologies (Fortinet preferred).
  • Proficient in routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
  • Familiarity with security solutions such as firewalls, IPS, and load balancers.
  • Basic knowledge of voice technologies (SIP, VoIP systems).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
