Required Qualifications & Experience

·   Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent are required.

·   Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior financial leadership role in the banking or financial services industry.

·   Strong knowledge of Malaysian banking regulations, financial risk management, and capital markets.

·   Proven experience managing financial operations within a regulated environment.

·   Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·   Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience presenting to the Board and regulatory bodies.

·   High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving banking landscape.

Key Responsibilities

·   Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, capital management, and tax.

·   Lead the development and execution of the bank's financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.

·   Ensure full compliance with Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulations, IFRS/MFRS standards, and other financial authorities.

·   Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board, regulators, and auditors.

·   Monitor financial performance, conduct variance analysis, and identify areas for financial efficiency and cost optimization.

·   Play a leading role in strategic planning, including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and investment strategies.

·   Oversee asset-liability management (ALM), liquidity risk, and capital adequacy.

·   Collaborate with senior management in business growth planning and risk management.

·   Lead and mentor the finance team, building a high-performance, compliance-driven culture.
