Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Advise the CEO and Board on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance and business growth.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Monitor financial performance and prepare timely management reports for decision-making.
  • Identify and analyze trends, variances, and risks to support strategic decisions.

Accounting, Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee accounting, audit, tax, and financial reporting functions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, financial regulations, and corporate governance standards.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Risk Management & Controls

  • Establish and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Manage risks related to finance, investments, and operations.
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure financial integrity and accountability.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

  • Oversee liquidity management, working capital optimization, and funding requirements.
  • Manage banking relationships and capital structure (debt/equity financing).
  • Ensure effective cash flow planning and control.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to support business needs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications like the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountant (MIA) would be added advantage.
  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, regulatory frameworks, and risk management.
  • Proven track record in financial strategy, fundraising, M&A, and corporate governance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and business acumen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM15,000.00 per month
