About the role

As a Commis 1 at HONEST BUTCHER GROUP SDN. BHD., you will be responsible for assisting the Chef de Partie in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. This is a full-time position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes and customer orders
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workstation, ensuring all kitchen equipment is well-maintained
  • Assisting the Chef de Partie with food preparation, portioning, and presentation
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Participating in menu development and tastings as required

What we're looking for

  • Relevant experience as a Commis 1 or entry-level kitchen role in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
