Requirements

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a large-scale organization or multinational company.
  • Prior experience working in a Public Listed Company (PLC) is required.
  • Background in the IT industry is preferred.
  • Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken).
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws; experience with listed company compliance requirements is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems.

Responsibility

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Delivery

  2. Develop and implement HR strategies responsive to the needs of the IT and manufacturing solution landscape—supporting innovation, digital transformation, and organizational agility.

  3. Partner with leadership to foster a performance-driven, inclusive culture, aligned with FSBM's corporate values and listed-company governance standards.

  4. Talent Acquisition, Onboarding & Offboarding

  5. Acquire top-tier talent with digital, AI, cybersecurity, and smart manufacturing expertise through inclusive, fair recruitment.

  6. Onboard new employees to ensure smooth integration into FSBM's collaborative and technical work environment.

  7. Offboard professionally, implementing exit interviews to gather insights that support continuous improvement.

  8. Employee Relations

  9. Provide guidance on employee relations matters, resolve workplace issues, and maintain a harmonious work environment.

  10. Performance & Career Development

  11. Design and manage performance evaluation systems tailored for tech professionals—focusing on goal alignment, competency growth (e.g., AI, analytics, security), and career pathways.

  12. Identify training needs and coordinate development programs around emerging technologies and leadership in IT.

  13. Compensation & Benefits

  14. Benchmark compensation packages to ensure competitiveness in the IT and digital solutions market, attracting and retaining specialized talent.

  15. Compliance & Reporting

  16. Ensure HR operations comply with Malaysian labor laws, company policies, and corporate governance guidelines.

  17. Contribute HR-related data for internal and external reporting, including sustainability and governance disclosures where relevant.

  18. Employee Engagement

  19. Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, recognition, and retention in alignment with company culture and values.
