POSITION OVERVIEW : Testing Engineering Senior Analyst
POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :
Position Overview
The Group IT – Enterprise team is looking for a candidate responsible for transforming business requirements to technological solutions by defining, analyzing and documenting requirements; mapping and streamlining business processes and verifies technological solution to fulfil business needs in the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite implementation.
Candidate will be the key contact point for the system, assisting the regional project manager in implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite. We are seeking an individual with strong experience in both Business Analysis and Test Management to support our system implementation and maintenance efforts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring system quality and business alignment throughout the software lifecycle.
Essential Job Functions – BA/Test Manager
Point of contact interfacing between technical team to business users on issues and change requests.
Develop and manage test strategies, plans, and schedules.
Design and execute test cases for Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM modules.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Manage defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA or Micro Focus ALM
Follow through the resolution and/or establish resolution plan
Validate data migration and integrations between Oracle Fusion and other systems.
Support automation testing initiatives where applicable.
Participate in release planning and provide testing estimates and timelines.
Ensure compliance with organizational testing standards and best practices.
Establish good working relationships with peers and users
Conduct training with users or internal IT teams
On-going application support.
Requirements
Holds a tertiary education
Good command of English, both written and spoken
At least 5 years' experience in business analyst and/or software testing role, in insurance industry with at least coverage of either life, group or general insurance business
At least 3 years focused on Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite (ERP and HCM) and/or Oracle E-Business Suite specially on Finance and HRMS modules
Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion modules such as Financials, Procurement, Projects, Core HR, Payroll, and Talent Management.
Experience with testing tools like Selenium, Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS), or similar.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Other Skills/Abilities
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, HPQC/Micro Focus ALM
Preference
Oracle Cloud certifications in ERP or HCM.
Experience in the role of software developer, business analyst, test management with some project management experience.
Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting.
May be required to travel short duration into Singapore.
