Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for leading the analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure that the business needs are clearly understood and that the proposed solutions meet those needs.

What you'll do in this role:

  1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.

  3. Conduct interviews, workshops, and observations to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement.

  4. Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.

  5. Solution Design and Development:

  6. Work with technical teams to design and develop solutions that meet business requirements.

  7. Ensure that solutions are aligned with business goals and objectives.

  8. Participate in the design and review of test cases, process change requests, and manage project scope.

  9. Project Management:

  10. Act as a liaison between the business units and the technical teams.

  11. Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.

  12. Provide project management support as needed, including project planning, scheduling, and reporting.

  13. Stakeholder Communication:

  14. Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.

  15. Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes.

  16. Testing and Validation:

  17. Develop and execute test plans to ensure that the solutions meet the specified requirements.

  18. Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

  19. Leadership:

  20. Lead and mentor junior Business Analysts, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.

  21. Continuous Improvement:

  22. Continuously improve business analysis processes and methodologies.

  23. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Job Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum 5 years of experience working as Business Analyst or similar roles is required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Experience with requirements management tools and documentation practices. 

• Payment or financial domain knowledge is an additional advantage.

• Experience with business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucid chart or similar software.
