Our prestigious client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst. This role will play a pivotal part in understanding project goals, engaging stakeholders, and documenting business requirements to successfully implement solutions. This is an onsite position based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Banks and ICSs strategy and relevant technology/cyber risks.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders across various units.
  • Engage proactively in documenting and executing change with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct thorough requirements analysis, ensuring all statements are complete, consistent, and verifiable.
  • Elicit requirements using various techniques, such as interviews, document analysis, and workshops.
  • Align projects with internal policies, standards, and frameworks, maintaining all relevant documentation.
  • Create wireframes, workflows, process maps, use case diagrams, flowcharts, and other business analysis artifacts.
  • Support testing teams in creating test documentation and assessing system implementation quality.
  • Review and prepare system documentation and specifications following Banks methodology.
  • Apply creativity in problem-solving and idea generation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate requirements prioritization based on business value.
  • Manage requirements traceability and track status throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in enforcing project deadlines, schedules, and methodologies.
  • Prepare end-user training and process documentation for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project team members on status reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Finance, Banking, Project Management, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Min. 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in large, global organizations.
  • Proven experience in creating various types of business analysis and project documentation.
  • Experience in collaborating with technical Subject Matter Experts.
  • Proficiency in process analysis, design, and optimization (BPMN).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Prior experience in Cyber Security is highly desirable.
  • CCBA, CBAP certification, or equivalent is a plus.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, capable of working under limited supervision.
  • Process-oriented with excellent judgment, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and demonstrate diplomacy.
  • Excellent presentation skills with a high standard of English.
  • Ability to deliver difficult messages to stakeholders with composure.
