Global IT Infrastructure Manager

Position Overview
:

The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's IT infrastructure, including Azure Cloud services, on-premises Microsoft servers, and networking components. The ideal candidate will ensure that all IT systems are secure, reliable, and efficient to support the organization's operations across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities
:

1.Infrastructure Management
:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, including Azure Cloud environments, on-premises Microsoft servers, and network systems.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of IT services.

2.Azure Cloud Services
:

• Manage and optimize Azure Cloud resources to meet business needs.
• Implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, and cost management.
• Monitor cloud performance and implement improvements as necessary.

3.On-Premises Server Management
:

• Administer and maintain on-premises Microsoft servers, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and other related services.
• Ensure timely updates, patches, and backups of all servers.
• Plan and execute migrations or upgrades when necessary.

4.Network Management
:

• Oversee network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Ensure network security and optimize network performance across all locations.
• Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions promptly.

5.Security and Compliance
:

• Collaborate with the IT Security & Compliance Officer to ensure all infrastructure components meet security standards and compliance requirements.
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures related to infrastructure.

6.Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
:

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for all infrastructure components.
• Ensure regular testing and updating of recovery procedures.

7.Team Leadership and Collaboration
:

• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals (if applicable).
• Coordinate with regional IT teams to support local infrastructure needs.
• Work closely with other departments to understand and fulfill their IT infrastructure requirements.

8.Vendor Management
:

• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies or services that enhance infrastructure efficiency.

9.Budget Management
:

• Prepare and manage the IT infrastructure budget.
• Monitor expenses and optimize costs related to infrastructure operations.

10.Documentation and Reporting
:

• Maintain detailed documentation of the infrastructure setup, configurations, and procedures.
• Provide regular reports on infrastructure performance, issues, and improvements to senior management.

Qualifications
:

1.Education
:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

2.Experience
:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Proven experience with Azure Cloud services and on-premises Microsoft server environments.
• Experience in managing network infrastructure across multiple locations.

3.Technical Skills
:

• Azure Cloud
  :
• Proficient in Azure administration, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, Azure Active Directory, and security features.
• Experience with Azure governance, cost management, and monitoring tools.
• On-Premises Microsoft Servers
  :
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange Server.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like Hyper-V or VMware.
• Networking
  :
• Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with network security best practices.

4.Certifications
(preferred):

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or higher.
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (
  CCNA
  ) or equivalent networking certification.
