About the role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to join our dynamic Freight Forwarding team at Taewoong Global Logistics Sdn Bhd in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that will see you playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and operational support to our diverse client base.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the customer service team, ensuring efficient and timely response to customer inquiries and requests
- Develop and implement customer service strategies and procedures to enhance the overall customer experience
- Collaborate with the sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination and problem-solving for customers
- Provide training and mentorship to the customer service team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Monitor and analyze customer feedback, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate solutions
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and requirements
- Contribute to the development of new service offerings and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices
What we're looking for
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a customer service or client-facing role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics and supply Chain Management or related field.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, including import/export procedures and customs clearance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Proven track record of leading and motivating a customer service team
- Proficient in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
