About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team at Channarong Sdn. Bhd. in Bachok, Kelantan. As our Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial records, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. This is a full-time position with an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Reconciling bank accounts and other financial accounts on a regular basis
  3. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
  4. Analysing financial data and providing recommendations to management
  5. Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  6. Coordinating with auditors and providing them with the necessary information
  7. Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and accounting procedures
  8. Providing support to other departments as needed

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  3. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the accounting or financial services industry
  4. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, standards, and reporting requirements
  5. Proficiency in using financial management software and spreadsheet applications
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  8. Good communication and interpersonal skills
